IS-IT--Management
Hi all,
I am helping someone setup a Linksys wireless router (WRT110) to their laptop which has Windows Vista. He has the internet comming into the house and into a modem. From the modem a cable is plugged from the modem to the 'Internet' connection on back of the router. From the router another cable is connected from the 1 port in back of the router and then into the ethernet port in back of the laptop. I was able to set it up and access the internet, but remove the cable from the laptop and it says their is no internet access available. Why wouldn't it work? I checked the device manager and everything is ok in there. No question marks or exclamation marks anywhere. Everything is clean.
How do I proceed from here to get wireless? I'm using IE to connect to the internet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jediwarrion
