Wrong VSS database

I have a number of VSS databases on my development server. I have the obvious default 'VSS' database but the one I want to store my project in is called 'SQSWEB'. I've set the project to point to this database, it even writes the *.sln file to this database, but the rest of the project gets written to the 'VSS' database...

...anyone know why?
