I have a VPN set up on a Win2k server behind my linksys router (all relevant ports are forwarded). Client computers connect without a problem, but are unable to browse or search for any network computers.
Anyway, I just discovered what may be the problem: The client computer is being assigned an IP address via DHCP which is in the right range, but when connected, it says the VPN connection is operating on the subnet of 255.255.255.255 INSTEAD OF 255.255.255.0 where all my other local computers live on the network.
To me that would explain why clients can't see computers, but I still don't know why it's doing this and how to assign the correct subnet.
