I have noticed that "5 minute input rate" info. which is availabe through for example "sh int s0" gives wrong values. E.g. I have a 128Kb link and the modem does not allow a higher throughput, however some times it shows
that " 5 minute input rate" is very much more than 128,000
bit/s. This I feel happens when I am down/up loading at max.
rates.
Any ideas why this?

Check that the command
bandwidth 128
is included in the serial line section of the router configuration.

Yes I have bandwidth set to 128, even though this has no effect, as if I am not mistaken this is for routing protocols to calculate the optimum path
