The system is SV8500, S7.
In the recently published internal company directory, there is a mistake. It is to a quite important number, so this is now hot subject. Re-printing the directory is not an option to handle the problem on an immediate basis.

Let's say Joe's ext is 1000.
Jim's is 1005.

The directory gives 1005 for both Joe and Jim, so Jim gets all the calls.

What I need to accomplish somehow is that if certain extensions try to reach Joe, and if they dial 1005 as given in the directory, they get connected to Joe at 1000 instead of the dialed 1005.

I only have to do this if the callers are certain extensions, let's say ext 3000,3001,... 3010. Only those users only ever care about reaching Joe.

This is internal call, so I can't play with LCR and digit addition and removal. I can think of putting the 3000-3010 stations in a different feature class, or restriction class, or even put them in a different MA-ID or LOC-ID. I can't put them in a different tenant.

Any idea how can I manipulate digits based on RSC, SFC, or MA-ID or LOC-ID (or based on extension or even IP address)? Or some other approach?

Give Jim a new number and use the voicemail as an auto attendant to let people dial 1 for Jim or 2 for Joe

Resolved. Outside of tech, it was resolved with "politics" :)
