hi there,
I am trying to install a Belkin Wireless Network USB Adaptor onto an XP Sp1 machine. When windows recognises new hardware, instead of listing the Belkin Device, a device named SMC EZ Connect Wireless USB Adaptor(SMC2662W)appears. Windows then continues to install the device automatically and start the networking wizard. Despite using the wizard, i cannot get the network connection functional. The device manager also shows the unknown device and says that the device is working properly.

I have tried reinstalling the device countless times, and have changed from sp2 (which started my numerous network problems and led to me reinstalling the network).

Does anyone know any possibilities for fixing this?
Thanks in advance,
