Hi,
I've install a 2nd hdd in my Netra t1 machine. Attempting to boot, I get the message:
Wrong magic number - invalid label (bla, bla)

If I run the OPB command:
probe-scsi
the disk is detected at: /pci@1f,0/pci@1,1/scsi@2/sd@1,0
as sd1. However, after the system boots, trying to run the format command, this shows only the old sd0 disk so I can't really repair the disk label.
Is there anything else I can do? Is the disk doomed?
Thanks,
SS

both disks are on the same (scsi) adress
look at the id-pin on the new disk -----------
when they don't ask you anymore, where they are come from, and they don't tell you anymore, where they go ... you'r getting older !

when you probe scsi did you find an extra disk .
If so try booting with the following option

OK>boot -r
then form the prompt
#format

here you should be able to see the new drive .

If you are getting wrong magic no. It could be due to wrong format i mean the disk may have got formatted in dos or window try to label the disk in format menu.
