Hi All,

I usually generate the licenses for our customers, and because pressure of the work I have assigned an extra licenses to one of our customers.

We usually use the offline and download the licenses (Password). We don't use the online assignment due to some security issues.

I have spoken to Mitel regarding this issue. Their reply was to purchase another sysid, or buy another licenses at special discount.
Is not practical to buy another sysid for each wrong licenses assignment.

Anyone experienced this issue and what was the solution for it?

I assume you mean an extra user license?

If so, and since you can't manage your account online through AMC, I would say just bite the bullet and accept the fact that you've given the customer a license they don't presently need.

In other words, Eat the cost and go on. It's relative incremental compared to the frustration you're going to go through and the time you're going to waste trying to get this rectified.

Perhaps someday the customer will need the extra lic. and you can recoup your cost at that time.

Dont know the security reasons behind it but you can do a upgrade using the SW installer and when it gets t the point of retrieving licenses take your laptop and connect via dialup to Mitel retrieve the licenses and continue your install this should get around and security issues you have.
