had asked this question many months ago, but never got an answer that worked. We have a BCM 3.6 that had copper trunks and ext's started with 2221. The vendor installed a T1 PRI and change all the Ext number's to start with 4100. internally when calling an ext you see the correct ext starting with 41xx, but if you cann tany other BCM or the Main office with an Option 11c then the display shows the old ext number starting with 22xx. Any new ideas?????

Have you checked the private OLI to make sure it is not sending out the old extension number rather than the new one.

You will find the setting under services-----telephony services-----system dns----- active set dns-----the dn you want to check. Click on the word line access and set the private OLI to be the extension number you want to send out on the private network. The public OLI is the OLI you send out to the exchange if you have a DDI range and want to send out A different DDI for your phone IE you secretary rather than the main number or whatever.

Is there something programmed in the OLI field under the telephone programming? That's the only place I can think that it would come from.

Beat me to it Mr. Marshall - you must have clicked on Submit a few seconds before I did....

lol one step ahead might be wrong off course.

You guys are just to good, that was the problem.

Thanks All
