Wrong delivery from Mailing List

I have exchange 5.5 set up on an NT 4.0 BDC. Itall seems to work fine apart from one niggling problem. When emails are received from different mailing lists the messages are not delivered to the intended recipient but are instead "bounced" to admin. I then have to manually forward them th the various recipients. I can't set up rules to auto forward them as one list has eleven recipients on it so each member would receive the mail 11 times!!! I have checked in various areas but there is nothing obvious to cause this to happen. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can check or how to solve this problem?
