Wrong colors appearing in the legend of a stacked-bar chart 1

I am using Crystal 2008. I have two reports that include several sub-reports.
One of the sub-reports is a stacked-bar chart. The colors on the bar chart and the colors appearing in the legend do not match. I have no idea where the colors in the legend are coming from. A display is set to blue and it is appearing as green in the legend.
I am also displaying one of the fields as a line on the chart. The line color is not always staying the color that I set it for. Sometimes the markers are the correct color but the line is a completely different color.
I have saved the sub-report and changed all of the colors in the chart expert, color highlight then re-imported the sub-report.
Any help would be appreciated.

You may have to right click on each of the boxes in the legend and format series marker as sometimes these are not updated from colours you have set in your chart expert. Are your colours conditional?

I don't have access to CR 2008 right now, but in XI it is important when working with charts to right click and check "Apply to all charts" (or something like that) to ensure that changes you make are retained.

I have updated the colors on each box in the legend. In the preview it looks good. Then the next time I run the report the colors are off again.


lbass - I am not sure what you are talking about or where you are talking about?? "APPLY to all charts?" or anything like this.

When making changes to charts, in some cases in the
"Chart" dropdown the "Apply changes to all charts" is activated.
