Morning all, I recently put a WRK54G back into service after about 6 months as the wireless router i was using belonged to a company I was performing side work for, but as we ended our deal, I gave it back. The problem is this: since I went back to the old router, 2-3 times a day, there is sustained activity between the WRK54 and the Acitontec DSL modem, which does not allow any of the PC's on myhome network access to the internet. Nothing has changed in my setup except for I did a firmware upgrade on the Actiontec and I moved back in February. Any ideas or sugestions are appreciated.

Does this condition happen for both the wired and wireless connections?

What was the firmware update suppose to fix?

Can you PING any devices or workstations?

....JIM....

Yes, it does affect both. The firmware upgrade corrected a speed issue, and basically brought the dsl modem up to date. Hmmm, didn't occur to me to try and ping any other devices....
