Hi All,

I am FTP-ying a flat file using a mapping. Which is later loaded into a SQL Server DB.
Delimiter is \007.
The Informatica mapping server code page is ISO 8859...
The client code page is WesternEuropean...
Datamovement mode is ASCII.
In the FTP-yed files the last column of the last row contains a CARRIAGE RETURN or LINE FEED . Ofcourse this should be after the last column, not in the last column.
Data is like..

Because of the above i could not load the flat file into the subsequent DB which is in SQL Server.

Its really urgent any input in this welcome.

Thanks in advance.

How do you load the data to SQL server? If you use informatica as well you can purge the carriage return from the last column by doing a replace on chr(10) or chr(13)..

Hi
Thanks for the reply. But I could not touch the way data is loaded into SQL Server.
I have to FTP the file in a way which is understandable by the SQL Server.
Thanks,
Nils
