My company uses a MS SQL 2005 database running on a 2k8r2 server. Last week I did the security updates on our server. Everything seemed fine until I noticed our production database was not showing that it had been modified under detailed view in folder options. However a archived database was showing the current date as last modified.
We don't make any direct changes to the production database, it's the backend of our ERP. I checked the settings in the ERP and it is set to access the current production database. Is this just a glitch in server 2k8 or is the archived database somehow being used. How can I tell?
