Has anyone ever set up a DB where a writing pad could be used to enter information in a Form Field? How would this be accomplished. We are thinking about doing this for a signature field when our students sign for equipment.

Thanks,

How are ya puforee . . .

Access already has the [blue]Memo[/blue] field type, with a limit of 65535K characters. A form with this field/data type is all you'd need to save directly!

Hody AceMan1,

So, if I am using a external device, pen pad, and I select a MEMO field I can scribble what ever I want in that field??? Is this what you mean.

I was actully wanting to have a standard text field that I could select with the pen pad and then enter a signature with the pen pad. Does this sound doable?

So sorry. I mistook writing pad for something else and have never done this.

Good Luck!
