Writing modules 1

Is there some really good documentation for writing modules anywhere on the net? I've writted plenty of shopping cart systems and the like in perl, but I've never got to grips with the way modules work and how to write them. I've used simple ones using subroutines and stuff, but all the :: and -> syntax leaves me a bit confused..

You can take a look at

It covers the topic from the perspective of OO Classes rather than 'how do I write a module'. But, I think it wil remedy most of your confusion.
