Hi, I have read a lot of information about the WRITING problems in Mas90 but, I don't know if somebody is experimenting my case!

I downloaded the ODBC Driver version 3.33 and I can save information into MAS90(IM1_InventoryMasterFile) but, not all information is saved correctly, I mean, the ITEMNUMBER and DESCRIPTION are saved correctly but the other fields are a MESS. If I run this SQL Sentence ****"Update IM1_InventoryMasterFile Set StdUM = 'EACH' Where ITEMNUMBER = 'XXXXX'"**** All fields change its value and I don't know why if I'm just updating ONE FIELD.

so, my question is, is there a solution for this or the only solution for importing information is the Visual Integrator??

thanks!

It is my guess that you downloads the ProvideX read-write ODBC driver. That driver will cause 100% data corruption 100% of the time in MAS. It was not designed for or intended for use with MAS. VI is the main way of getting information into MAS. With 4.10 you can purchase the Business Object Interface which will expose the com and allow you to write to all modules on the 4.xx standard in MAS using VB but you MUST take the BOI class FIRST or they will not sell it to you.
