Hello,
I'm using Spreadsheet::WriteExcel to create a large Excel Spreadsheet. However, I get the error message: Maximum Spreadsheet:WriteExcel filesize, 7087104 bytes, exceeded. To create files bigger than this limite please install OLE:Storage_Lite.

I have Perl (v 5.12.2), Spreadsheet-WriteExcel (2.37) and OLE-Storage_Lite (0.19) installed according to PPM.

Does anyone know how I can overcome this error message?

Thank you,

Paul.

Hi Paul.

If you're using Spreadsheet::WriteExcel prior to version 2.17, you will get this problem with files larger than about 7 Meg. In that case, you need to install Spreadsheet::WriteExcel::Big.

But that is now deprecated, so a better way is to install a newer version of Spreadsheet::WriteExcel. Current version is 2.37. That won't have this problem.
