Write to Catalog Error on Full Backup

Backup Exec 8.0 with the MS Exchange backup addon.
Running on NT 4.0.

My weekend full back up always ends with a "could not write to on disk catalog" error though, from the amount of data stored prior to failure, the backup is completing though ending the job in failure.

The differentials I run through the week are always successful and start fresh, like the full backup ran fine. The catalog error message is impossible to complete delete from the alert page.

I have a sony multitape DAT 4 drive if that helps.

Any ideas?

whats the exact error , copy and paste it + are you running a verify?
