write protect ARCserverIT

I have used a cartridge writed in a HP SureStore DLT 40e tape, with Wondows NT.
Now I want to use it in a StorEDGE L9 Tape Autoloader of Sun Microsystems with Solaris 2.5.
The cartridge is loaded and appears like it´s write protect but the external switch is off.
How to do for unprotecting the cartridge and write it with the ARCserver software?
