My problem is: When using an ODBC link from MS Acces to an AS400 database.
For example: a table has 5 fields A1 - A5.
A1 is an order number alreday in AS400 system
I would like to add data to A2-A5
After I enter data into A2-A5 it disappear
but i didn't see in the AS400 system.

I setup a quick test access-odbc-iseries and it worked fine for me. Are you getting any error messages???
Try looking at and adding data in data-sheet view, maybe if you're using a form there's a problem with that.

no there is no error mesg.
but the data is disappear in data field access
but now where to be found in as400 system.

I think something have to do with our as400system.
cuz i'm new in as400..

log on to the as400
on the command line type:
brwpfm yourlib/yourfile

see if your data is really there.

os400,

Did you mean DSPPFM? Is BRWPHM a utility program on your system? There is no such command on our system. ;-)

ttran54,

Check the authority on the physical file on the AS/400. Also check your ODBC driver and make sure it is NOT set to read only.
