Does anyone know what could be causing a write conflict on a 1 to many form while only one person is using the db? I think it might have something to do with the primary key being a bar code that is built from other data entered on the form. If someone chages the data the bar code changes but shouldn't the Update Related fields property solve this problem.. Any help would be wonderful..

What is the barcoded information??
Do you have a human readable version of it?
Can you key that in and get the same results??
Is it a part number??

The bar code is a string field that is built from other data entered such as product type and other information.

Try explicitly saving the record in code before you move to the next one / close the form etc.

This has worked for me in the past
