Write-Back Cache

It should be setting in the BIOS, under Advanced. If no settings are available then the cache is active and cannot be turned off. A way to save $$$.
What CPU are you using? Older CPU's are actually write-through; it's easier (and less expensive) to implement write-through than write-back. Your mileage may vary...
