Hi, I have made a projector. (wow)

The in this projector the user can define settings, such as fonts and their personal details etc.

What I am trying to do is male it so that the projector file creates and write to a file, storing these variables.

The users will be mostly using 98 and 2000. (normally with restricted admin rights).

This file needs to be stored:

a) where they can't see it
b) where they have write access

Does anyone know if you can define the location where the flash projector can create and reference a file on the hard-drive, in a pre-defined location. And if so....can anyone tell me how?

Cheers,

Matt

hi gameon

vaguely remember something from waaaaaaay back by a member called SUPRA. I think it was in December 2000, providing a similar solution. It's a pity the search engines down, would have been easier to find. Maybe if you've got the patience it would be worth a troll through the december posts, or even just checking SUPRA posts.
