How do I get text to wrap around the shape of a graphic. For example if I have a circle graphic, how do I get text to arc IN A CIRCLE around the object? Not just end on one side and then begin on the other. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hello,
You can not do this in Pagemaker.
But this might be a possible work around for you.
You can download a full working version of Indesign from the adobe website which works for X number of days. Something like 60 if I remember correctly. You can print and save in the program.
You can type any info on any shape from a line to a circle.
If you need the item in Pagemaker you can export the Indesign file to a pdf then place the pdf into Pagemaker.
If you have questions on how to do this in Indesign if you decide to go this way let me know.
Good luck

Hi, Kennyu,
you can do wrapping text around the shape of a graphic in Pagemaker very well. You need to activate "Text Wrap" in the menu "Element" or with the right mouse button (Pagemaker 7.0, but it's the same command in older versions).
With this you get a rectangle text wrapping around your object. Now you can click into the stroked line which marks the wrapping. Every click sets a new point that you can move - and with this you can move the wrapping of the text outside the element!
Sounds a little more complicated than the automatism of InDesign. But with just a few clicks you're able to contruct an fine wrapping.

I can assure you that PM6.5x does not support text wrap in the manner that Kenny is asking. The text wrap option in PM 6.5 & 7.0 is allowing text to flow around an object. Kenny wants, if I understand the question correctly, to have the text curve around the arc of a curved line or circle. The best bet for that, shy of buying InDesign, is to use Illustrator or CorelDraw! or a similar program.
