WP9 Legal doesn't see A-drive

On several occasions, on more than one Win2K machine running WordPerfect Office 2000 for the Law Office, WP 9 cannot see the A-drive - in file Open, you select the A-drive, and it continues to show the directories on the C-drive. Other applications, including Explorer, are seeing the A-drive just fine! User has Administrator rights, it still happens. Sometimes futzing around in the registry coincides with the problem going away, but I am never sure if it just faded away or I fixed the problem! Ideas, anyone?

Did you ever find an answer to this problem? We are having the same problem here in our office.

Yes, the SP4 release of WP9 Legal cured the problem, as well as removing the requirement to have WP9 users with Administrator rights on their Win2K workstations. That's the good news! The bad news is that the SP4 requires that you Uninstall WP9, and install it over again from the CD's that you get from Corel for WP9 SP4. They provide these for under $10, contact their fulfilment desk, and have your WP9 serial number ready. You'll also need to install the other CD's with the Legal Suite add-ins, if you installed them the first time. Don't bother with Dragon as supplied with WP9 legal if you're in Win2K - it isn't Win2K compatible!
