WP8 has no address book

I use the address book feature in WP8 and it is no longer available - it's greyed out on the tools menu. I'm running win98 and the address book is from novell.

Any ideas how I can get this back?

Your information is there. WP8 has two terrific features on the CD. Go to reinstall it and instead of reinstallation try the two options to verify files and the second..I don't remember what it is, but it is not installation.,, These fix a multitude of small Corel problems.

You may need to reinstall windows messaging. If you have recently installed a new program that uses the mapi32.dll, it could have overwritten the one WP address book was using. I've seen this happen many times; once you get the address book back, make a backup copy of mapi32.dll & store it somewhere safe.
