Hi all, Happy New year to you all :)

I have an issue with my address book.

I created a shared paradox address book with Corel Central Admin and shared it to three users.

I connected the address book to my computer (where it is stored) and then to the other two computers. All of a sudden without any kind of indication as to why, I cannot connect to the addressbook. "Connection Failure"

It was working fine when I was using it and even working fine after it was shared to one other user, after the third shared it it has since ceased working. I do not know of any crashes or failures that could have created this problem, but now I cannot even open it with Corel Central Admin, Word Perfect (tools -> address book) or from the other two computers.

Does anyone know a way to check the files it creates for corruption etc? Any ideas? I'd be grateful.. thanks all

Hi all, I've fixed this problem. I nuked WP office suite 2002 and re-installed it. :p

It seems to have cleared the situation and I can start with a fresh-ish installation as well. My address books and databases had become corrupted and after trying to repair them using Paradox - it helped but only for a short while. I exported my addressbooks to .csv files and then when I started anew I imported them. Works fine now (I hope)..
