wp back up file issue on later versions of wordperfect

Hello,

Here where I work, a staff member has noticed that when she modifies a wp 13 document the modified date changes on the back up document as well as the main document. She wants the modified date to stay unchanged on the backup document the way it does on Word and earlier versions of WP. Does anyone have a work around or a solution. I would be most grateful.

Please explain how the backup is created.

Obviously, it would change when it is backed up. I back mine up by a BAT file that use XCOPY. It only backs up the file if it has changed. This is done by a switch. So, I don't see the problem. If the original changes then the backup should change if it is automated process.
