I realize I'm refering to a quite out of date version, however, my mother-in-law prefers this version for her medical transcription. She just got a new Dell P4 system running windows ME. When she tries to print she gets an error...(I would give details on the error..but I haven't gotten specific error from Father-in-law yet)...and has to end up rebooting the system.

Does anyone know of this issue?? or are there printer updates for this version.....

She was recently using an HP 692 inkjet...and changed to an 800 series HP inkjet printer....(this was before the computer change...and all was still going well...) but not now..

Does anybody have any ideas.....??
Thanks in advance

Must be a mother-in-law disease. My mother-in-law also insists on using WordPerfect 6.0 with Windows ME and had printing problems. What I found works is to store the file in .rtf format(rich text)in WordPerfect. She opens WordPad, reads in the .rtf file and can print. Everything she does in WordPerfect has translated and looks fine.

Good luck

I will email her with your posting.

It's weird. I went up there and sometimes could get it to print great....and sometimes not. What I had done for a work around is. I had WP suite 8. I put a macro with an icon on the toolbar that resized and changed layout so that they matched the page printouts from the dos version....after she typed the wp 6 version document and saved it. she would open the file using wp 8. click the button ...print..and then Not save the format & version changes.

Thanks
