WP 10 Difficulties

I use WP8 with great success. I don't see any WP 10 or WP Office 2002 entries in Tek-Tips, and recently purchased WP10. On a W2k Pro machine, WP10 failed to install until they sent me a CD-ROM with SP1 and SP2 on it. Some things are wrong:

1) All macros take a full 4 seconds to start
2) The Edit > Select > Paragraph function is not working. In paragraphs separated by [HRt][HRt], the selection only includes ONE [HRt] so if you paste several paragraphs, they are no longer paragraphs. Also, if a paragraph is divided by a [SPg] code, which will happen almost on every page, WP10 only selects up to the [SPg] and mutilates the paragraph.
3) I cannot find a "Corel Migration Manager" that is supposed to help in transferring macros, QuickWords, etc.

Has anybody heard anything about WP 10 or these
difficulties?

Corel web site? Yes - and I saw nothing as specific as these problems. I had been in e-mail touch with Corel Tech help for the installation, but when additional problems developed (the ones posted here), no answer ever came. For me, WP10 proved unusable since neither Corel nor this forum seem to have solutions.

I really like WP10.

I run it on Windows 2000 Professional.
I too it the spg problem with paragraphs, but I never use that. Glenn

Corel website is uniquely unhelpful in these situations. I have Corel 2002 oem which refuses to allow opening or creating any of the cc10 items except the memo. I have been able to finally use a back door to open version 8 address books and create a version 9 address book, but WP2k2 refuses to use them in merge, claiming "insufficient memory" (about 600mg with no other programs running)so they are essentially useless to me.

If you are at all able to open the address book or calendar in 10, then you can export your wp8 address book to csv or txt and import it without many problems.



 
Have you tried the Corel newsgroup at corel.wpoffice.wordperfect10?
 
Yes, I have. The Corel Central issue seems to be very common, but there is no answer in them tht works for me, or for that matter, apparently for other people with the problem. My guess is that my own problem is somehow BDE related. I think if someone would at least look and confirm the components, name and structures of the items in the calendar and address book, I might be able to back door the issue, but I don't know anyone who has them.
