Most of the people that lived through the 70s can't remember anything from that decade anyways...not by choice, mind you.

I was hoping my 70s comment would engender some responses, and my hope has been fulfilled!

However, I must now rescind my comment, because sleipnir214 is correct...tube tops are a good thing. I guess the only drawback is when they are worn by people who just should not be wearing such clothing...

I would say tube tops worn mostly by the people who shouldn't wear them which makes this invention priceless because of all the fun it creates when arong people use it.

"FANtastic"!!

My college roommate used this in a very sarcastic way (mid '80's, for time reference). I have no idea how wide-spread the term was used.

THe first time I heard "Wowzers" was on Inspector Gadget.

How about:
Gnarly
Radical
Fan-f**kin'-Tastic
Awesome
Tubular
Coolio (before he was a rap star.. lol)
Wicked
Slammin'
Rockin'
B*tchin'

And for those who remember TMNT...
COWABUNGA!

(Of course, the line that lead up to that was so funny....)
"Awesome!" "Radical!" "Bosanova!" "Huh?" "ummm... Chevy Nova? How about Cowabunga!"
