I have a pop-up form that I want to grow and shrink, based on how many records are being displayed. The form is set to Continuous Forms.
The form I am working with keeps wanting to pop up in the same size that it is while in design mode.
The thing is, it is working in another application that I did, and I can't figure out what the difference between the two forms is. I have the "Can Grow" property of the Detail section set to "Yes" in both cases. Both forms are Pop-Up and Modal yes.
Any suggestions?
Thanking you in advance, Mike K

My understanding is that setting the 'can grow' property of the detail section only allows it to grow within the confines of the overall form, which you have set in design view.

Make sure that in the form properties sheet Autoresize is set to yes and border style is sizeable- this may do it.

I don't think you can resize a dialog box. Even if you have the border style set to Sizeable, if you call the form with DoCmd.OpenForm "formname",,,,,acDialog , or if your form is popup/modal, I believe that Access disables the sizable property because it thinks you want a dialog box. If you want a sizable form, try calling the form without the acDialog qualifier and set the Form's Border Style property to Sizable.
