Would need to know as power to activate an impression tail that it has been blocked and that after eliminating the pending lists this does not operate if we do not restart the servant. I am employing a ++SCO ++OPEN ++SERVER 5.0.5

I am sorry, I do not understand your question. Could you ask the question in a different way please?

Also post the question in your own language, someone may be able to read it.

Oh -- and welcome to tek-tips :) Mike

Email welcome if you're in a hurry or something -- but post in tek-tips as well please, and I will post my reply here as well.

Estimado Mike:

So in short : how to reinitialize a remote printer queue without restarting?

disable <printername>
enable <printername>
or
kill all the lpd processes and restart /usr/lib/lpd
and sometimes you may need to restart the lpsched process as well.

hope this helps
