I have one machine where the A drive is continually being read - regardless of whether or not a disk is in place. Someone told me it's probably Norton Antivirus just doing a routine check, however these routine checks are happening too frequently for what I would call routine. In just the last half hour, it ran 5 times. I've shut down a couple of times during these and a message came up stating that another user is connected to your computer, continuing to shut down would disable them, do you want to continue and I continue with the shut down process. I've seen this message one other time with "2 users" connected.

Any Suggestions?
thx.
