We are creating image files of standard desktop configurations which we need to distribute to remote sites. The best way for us to do this is to send them cd's of the images to copy up to their local servers. We wish to use already available software to do this (winzip for example) but we have yet to discover if this is feasible. Any thoughts? Servers are Novell 5 and up, workstations mostly a mix of 2000 or 98se.

Would like to SPAN IMAGE files across several CDs

Use this free bit of software to split the image file into manageable chunks across several discs, then at the other end copy the contents of all the disks to one location on the server and run the file joining batch file that the splitting program created.
