Would like to change Email "display name"

I would like to change the email display name for a user on a Solaris 6 installation. I change the passwd file but it doesn't work. The emails come in as root@application and I can't find where this is set. Where else should I be looking other then passwd? Thanks!!

Check the settings for whatever client software you're using.
