Would like to calculate info from Excel Sheet 1 to Sheet 2 1

We would like to create Sheet 2 of an Excel workbook and have a summary of totals taken from Sheet 1. Sheet 1 will have multiple bits of information and totals which might cover 300-500 lines. Sheet 2 should be about 7 lines with totals only. How do I reference cells, totals, etc. from one sheet to another?

I know how to reference items on the same sheet for example I might have a list of totals on A15:A62 and M200:M225. If I want the totals to show somewhere else on the sheet like at T30 and T32, I can insert the formula at T30 as =Sum(A15:A62) and at T32 insert the formula =Sum(M200:M225).

I don't know how to put the sum on Sheet 2 to reference the sums on Sheet 1. I guess that on Sheet 2, for example, I would pick a cell and type =Sum(Sheet 1:A15:A62) and in another cell type =Sum(Sheet 1:M200:M225). Please correct the syntax so that information from Sheet 1 can be passed to Sheet 2 of the same worksheet.

ANY reference can be inserted into a formula by CLICKING on the appropriate object. So, if you're on Sheet1 and your data in on Sheet2, while in the forumla you are building, click the Sheet2 tab, and select the range. Works with references in other workbooks as well.
