I have a pc that was, is, infected with viruses and worms. I have cleaned them out, but it seems that they are coming back.
I used A Square worm remover and AVG anti virust extractor tools to clean it up.
Most of the crap was in the restore files.
Can I try and restore to a point when the system worked?
Thanks
Boss

short answer is no. Turn off system restore and run the AV & antispyware programs in safe mode. Or for a concise answer have a look at the following faq's

Also make sure you don't have other machines on the network that's infected. I was recently on a similar call and the re-infecting culprit ended up being a Snap storage drive.
