My brother in law is running Win 98 and Antivir. He now has the following virus warnings on bootup:

C:\windows\system\system32.exe contains worm/tanked.p2p.11

and

C:\windows\usertemp\unreal2_bloodpatch.exe contains worm/tanked.p2p.11

There are no options to repair. I dont know if i can safely delete the system32.exe file or not. I have no idea if its vital or not to the OS or if its off a certain program.

I delete the bloodpatch.exe one but it comes back every time i reboot.

Does anyone have any advice they can offer

Thanks in Advance

Both files can be safely deleted from your computer, plus you should scan your registry for these reg keys:
"Tanked.11":

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
SystemSAS = system32.exe

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices
SystemSAS = system32.exe

Delete these reg entries aswell. Rescan your system afterwards to make sure you're clean.
