WORM FIX

Hi everyone,

My PC detect a w32.mapson.worm I ran the anitivirus and I got an error message that said that there is a file that access is denied. I can't delete the file so this alert messages is there and I can't get it off my PC.

Does anyone have any suggestion of how to fix this. I tried to run a fix but I can never finish running.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Posting the text of the exact error would help, but I suspect that your virus scanner is finding the virus in your system restore volume. Try turning off system restore, then scan again. Reenable system restore when you're done. Instructions here

If that smah has pointed out doesn't work try to manually delete the file starting in "Safe mode".
