Customer is running reprinted invoices thru Workflow explorer, using Crystal in ICR to email the invoice. World Ship installed an update, and now it is locking up? The only thing they added was an mdac, which is version 2.5 which should be ok, and Msjet. Anyone know what Msjet is and if this could cause a problem?

Thank you

This is a known issue with Worldship and Crystal Reports. Reinstall the Macola client, and this will fix itself.

dgillz is right about the fix but to let you know. MSJET is the Microsoft Jet Database engine client. It is utilized to connect to access db's usually deployed by 3rd party software to insure that their package will read their db.

Problem is that you already have the required components and theirs is not playing nicely with Macola's. I usually suggest not messing with MDAC components unless completely necessary.

WorldShip has its own set of problems. Try putting Starship or ShipGear on top of a UPS-supplied WorldShip computer & get ready to have all kinds of problems. Everything from their own registry hacks to their proprietary print drivers that cause a reboot when you touch them using a usb port is nothing but a pain. If you aren't using any WorldShip ODBC tools, I would let the Macola client install overwrite any Worldship stuff so your Macola works again. Or have the ICR running off a machine that doesn't need Worldship.
