I'm just a little reluctant to post this in the Definity group so soon. However, as I am becoming more exposed to Avaya, I did my best to make a compact book site much like MicroMerl. Of interest is Page 2 of the Screen Reference book - I have made a poster with every possible DISPLAY/LIST/STATUS command. I think it's kinda cool. You decide.

As always, excellent job and of course your website is probably one of the best sites I know of to go for help.

Many thanks

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS AND AVAYA

As us old-time Nortel Meridian x11 users are being guided/forced/dragged into the CM world, I'm appriciative of the work you are doing on this.

Right now I'm going through the "What classes do you want us to send you to" questions from management on the CM platform and nothing Avaya/GK provides really fits with what I need or want to speend. I have 13 years of Meridian knowledge, totally familiar the TDM and IP world, familiar with H.323 and have a general understanding of SIP. I need to know the simple Adds/Moves/Changes access and tips/tricks (like in the CS1k world "don't copy/move ACD sets" that we've all learned through the years.) Do need to understand the ARS and AAR (which is similar to BARS) and ACD setup. Need maintenance proceedures (backups, trunk status, call trace, T1 status).

Anyone else want to add to this?

Those in the know at my company have suggested these are the classes to take

Avaya Aura Communication Manager Fundamentals 3 days virtual class
Avaya CM Administration - 5 days in class
Avaya Aura Communication Manager Implementation - 5 days in class
Avaya Aura Communication Manager Maintenance and Troubleshooting - 5 days in class
