I have the following problem. I’m currently running a network with 2 servers

Server 1
OS Windows Server 2008
IP ADDRESS: 192.168.0.10
Server Name: CNO-10
Services: Active Directory Domain Controller
File Server
IIS

Server 2
OS: Windows Server 2003
IP ADDRESS: 192.168.0.11
Server Name: CNO-11

I then have 20 workstations some with Windows 7 and others with Windows XP they are all joined to the network Domain. The problem I’m currently experiencing is that for some reason between 4-6 in the afternoon the workstations loses connection with Server CNO-10, and also they can’t connect to their mapped network drive. However they do have internet access and they can connect to the other Server (CNO-11) If they restart the workstation, connection to Server CNO-10 is restored and starts working again. It doesn’t sound like a DHCP problem because must workstations have Static IP configured. What can be causing this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When the problem is occurring can that server access anything on the network?

Network+
Inet+
MCP
MCSA 2003
MCTS

Run DcDiag and NetDiag with the /v switch on both servers. just before 4-6.

SMB signing issues might be a possible but not at specific times...does it always occur between the tine mentioned?. Possibly your running out of resources on the server? Can you still ping the server during issue, if so can you connect using the IP address versus netbios name as in \\"ip address\"share". Does the inflicted server's desktop/and or access slow just before the wks start having issues between 4- and 6.
On the wks side, any laptops coming in from home? All wks checked for malware?
