IS-IT--Management
Hi All,
We just set up a laptop for a remote user to connect to the office via VPN from one of our sites (Site B).VPN ip adddress is also set up to use that of the remote site office. Funny thing is when I pinged the workstation by name from site A where laptop was set up,the reply also showed the ip address of the subnet where the laptop was set up instead of the other site's address. To make it clear laptop was set at site A.
Site A (where laptop was set up) : 192.168.3.X
Site B (where laptop now is, and user working from home via VPN) 192.168.4.x
When laptop was pinged by name, it replied with the subnet ip address of Site A instead of Site B' subnet address..
Other than that, laptop is connecting to teh network fine.
Could someone please advise as to why this is happening and a possible fix?
Thanks in advance
