Workstation not working

During the "boot-strap" my workstation stops running at 0581 process, even if
i try to get in as single-user. I got this situation after making a
changement to the inet0 and et0 using smit. How can i recover the system
again? Please, help me.
I just want to get the prompt again to see my disk content

I might be wrong about this, but I think you'll find that it won't hang on that led forever - if you wait 20 mins or so, the boot might complete. You can then undo whatever it is that you shouldn't have done. While you are waiting, you could look up the error code

most likely, there's an error re your network (tcpip) setup or configuration, but system bootup should continue after awhile. 20-25mins? i remember i had the same problem last week.

after bootup completed - you can check your network definition, e.i., /etc/hosts, default-gateway, etc.

worth a try i guess....
