Workstation helper / Network ID

Hi,

Anybody got any ideas for this problem??

Running Zen4 on windows 2000 PCs, I can go in and manually enable Workstation Manager through the Network ID settings in control panel, and manually start the workstation manager service, all works fine. However after a reboot, the workstation manager fails to load without returning any errors. This is driving me mad!

Have you checked to make certain the workstation manager is set to start automatically in the services screen under the control panels?

Also have you installed the latest support pack for zenworks? The initial release did have some bugs with workstation manager connecting to the tree.

I'd also look at how you have setup the workstation import, and verify that it is working properly. I have found that when this isn't working, many things will be really flaky in whether or not they will work.
