Hey all!

I am using the gnome environment in RH9. As you are all aware the gnome environment has a handy little workspace switcher at the bottom of the screen. I was wondering if there was a way to switch between the different workspaces with the use of the keyboard? Having to click on the required workspace with the mouse can be irritating and tedious at times.

Thanks for any and all help in this matter.

Sean.

At least, in my debian you press <ctrl><f1> or <f2> or <f3> or <f4>.

On RH8, it's set up to be Ctrl-Alt-arrow keys.

You should also be able to go into the preferences > keyboard shortcuts (or something ot that effect) and change the defaults to something you like better.
