Is it possible to have the grid lines visible on some rows and columns and invisible on other rows and columns on the same sheet?

Thanks

Only by changing the Fill Color to White I'm afraid.

Peace! [peace]

Yet another option... Use the "Camera" option to capture pictures of the various sections you want to include in your report.

The "pictures" you take - and place on a separate "report" sheet - remain interactive with the original location of each picture. Any changes (data changes, inserting/deleting rows) are automatically reflected in the "pictures".

A "bonus" is that you can if desired, stretch or shrink any or all of the individual pictures - for example to force a picture to fit on the page, or to fit in with the other pictures on the page.

As for the gridlines, you would turn the gridlines "off" on the report sheet (where you place your pictures). So long as the gridlines are "on" in the original sheet, the gridlines will transfer with each picture you take and place on the report sheet. It's possible to place pictures from various sheets onto the report sheet. The end-result of this, is that your report sheet will include gridlines only in those pictures; everywhere else will have no gridlines.

If you'd like to set up this "Camera" option as an icon on your toolbar, here are the steps.

1) Right-click on your toolbar, and choose "Customize".

2) Click on the "Commands" tab.

3) Under "Categories" (on the left), click on "Tools".

4) Under "Commands" (on the right), scroll down to near the bottom, and you'll see "Camera".

5) Click-and-drag this icon to your existing toolbar.

6) If you'd like to be able to activate this icon by using a keyboard shortcut - i.e. hold down the <Alt> key and hit the letter "C", then...
While still in the "Customize" window, right-click on the "Camera" icon and choose "Text Only (Always)".

To use the Camera...

a) Highlight a range.
b) Hold down <Alt> and hit C (or click the icon).
c) Click on the separate report sheet's tab.
d) Left-click the mouse. This will "drop" the picture, and you can then move it around and position is exactly where you want. As mentioned before, you can also stretch or shrink your picture.

Hope this helps. Please advise as to how you make out with your "photography skills".
