Works "Ad-hoc" but not "Infrastructure"

With my Dlink DWL 520+, I can see my network but I cannot access it. I can "talk" to the access point on a Ad-hoc basis, but when I turn to the Infrastructure mode, it does not work.
I tried with another Wifi card and it worked fine, so it's either a configuration problem of my DLink card or a physical problem of the card.
Any idea?

Depending on the driver for the card itself:

. SSIDs can be case sensitive. e.g., dLink and DLINK as SSIDs are not compatible;

. WEP keys often if using a passphrase do not work. Enter the actual HEX or ASCII key.

. Did you check to see if there is a driver update?
